Star Exemption Information | Town of Rotterdam Real Property Data

ATTENTION ROTTERDAM VETERANS

Recently the Town of Rotterdam and County have passed Legislation for the Cold War Veterans Exemption. The qualifying dates are September 2, 1945 to December 26, 1991. If you are not already qualifying for a Veterans Exemption please call the Rotterdam Assessor's Office at (518)355-7575 ext 396. The deadline to file is March 1, 2011.

ATTENTION ROTTERDAM SENIORS

Senior Citizens' Exemption Program

Any senior turning 65 years old during the calendar year 2010 with an income of less than $37,400 may qualify for a portion of the Senior Exemption. Apply at the Assessor's Office by March 1, 2011. Any questions, please contact the Assessor's office at (518) 355-7575 ext 396.

Enhanced Star Program

Any Senior turning 65 years old during the calendar year of 2010 must apply for the Enhanced Star Program at the Rotterdam Assessor's Office by March 1, 2011. Any questions, please contact the Assessor's office at (518) 355-7575 ext 396.
