Parks Department, Senior Services & Activities

The Parks department is dedicated to providing relaxing, safe areas for public recreation and the doors of the Senior Center are open to all persons 55 years of age and older with Rotterdam residents receiving first preference. There is no membership fee to our seniors to take advantage of our wide range of classes, many discounted bus trips throughout the year, or utilizing our building.

The Rotterdam Senior Citizens’ Center has been at its present location since 1975. Our goal here is to get seniors out of their homes and involved. Many services offered are free to seniors to help save them time and money. In addition to the activities offered, we also have books that seniors are able to borrow and exchange. We are always searching for new things to bring to Seniors. If you have any suggestions, please let us know.
