UPDATE: LEAD SERVICE LINE STATUS/SURVEY
A letter was recently sent to homeowners in Rotterdam and Rotterdam Junction regarding the status of residential service lines. The attached PDF has important information regarding this letter with FAQ's and contact information for those who need further assistance verifying their service line. This is an ongoing effort and the Town appreciates your full support in collecting the data for this federal requirement.

Postcards have been mailed out from the Town of Rotterdam containing a QR code you can scan, to complete a Lead Service Line Inventory Survey. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) require all municipalities to complete this process and your input is needed.
You can also download the attachment in this notice regarding the Lead Service Line Inventory Survey (with instructions), and submit your response at your earliest convenience.

In early February, residents and businesses who receive Town Water Service for Districts 3 and 4 were mailed a letter explaining a survey that needs to be completed regarding Lead Service Line Inventory.
If you haven’t already completed this survey, the Town requests your participation to help with determining the material of the customer-owned side of your water service line.
Please see attachment regarding this survey(with the letter and instructions attached), and if you have not yet submitted yours, please do so at the your earliest convenience.
